The Origin of Vox Fori

Why write this blog?

I have considered writing a blog for several years. It felt like a natural extension of my career and personal interests. I enjoy teaching. I have strong opinions on a variety of topics. I am passionate about sharing knowledge.

But, until now, I have not had enough unique content to share. In the past, every time I had an idea for blog content, I found that someone else had already written on the subject and I had few novel insights to share.

So, what’s changed? In a word, everything.

And so, with excitement, optimism, and maybe just a touch of trepidation, I introduce you, dear reader, to Vox Fori. Loosely translated from Latin, that is the “Voice of the Market.” More precisely, the “voice of the forum,” but forum in the sense of a gathering place for trading both goods and knowledge, which today, we refer to as “the market.”
